  • Make sure that all shipping units are labeled with any pertinent information, such as the number of pieces. It’s also a good idea to include your business card in each package just in case items get separated.
  • Provide as much information as possible on the bill of lading. Include the name of the show and exhibitor, booth number, on-site contact name, telephone number, and the number of pieces and weight of each.
  • Hire a transportation provider that actually has trade show logistics expertise, and properly communicate to them the marshalling yard location and check-in time.
